Its exteriors have seen slight alterations like the rear spare wheel that has found a new dwelling place under it. Tata Safari Storme now offers dynamic look with new slimmer headlamps housing projector lamps and chrome strip on the honeycomb grille. Interiors which were the highlights of the old Safari have taken a leap in terms of fit and finish and added gadgets.

Plastic quality of the interiors is great and at par with the competition. Most of the feature and theme are of the caliber of its Aria cousin. The underpinnings of Storme are completely new that means the ladder frame chassis of old Safari are out and Aria chassis are in which has reduced the turning radius of this mammoth vehicle.
Engine, however, will be the same 2.2 litre DiCOR engine which is now more frugal and responsive. The diesel motor churns out top power of 140 bhp at 4000 rpm and peak torque of 32.63 kgm at 1700-2700 rpm. The refined powermill is linked to five speed manual transmission. Mileage of the Storme is expected to be around 10-13 kmpl overall.
The price of Tata Safari Storme is expected to be tagged in the range of Rs 10-13 lakh.
