What is Aadhaar?
Aadhaar is a 12 digits Unique Identification Number provided by the Identification Authority of India on behalf of the Government of India.

Everyone who is the citizen of India even Rural and Urban needs to apply for Aadhaar. It is very necessary for all Indian citizens. It is the proof which proves you are Indian.
So apply for Aadhaar you needs at least two identity proofs like PAN Card, Electricity Bill,telephone bill, Ration Card, License, 10th DMC copy, Voter card , birth certification, passport etc.

How to check the status of my Aadhaar?
While enrolling time they provide you enrollment slip. That enrolment slip contains 14 digit enrolment numbers and the 14 digit date and time of enrolment. These 28 digits together form your temporary enrolment ID (EID).
For retrieve your Aadhaar status, you need to enter 14 digit no., date and time in the boxes.

What I do if lost my enrolment slip/acknowledgement slip?
If you lost your enrolment you may wait for the 90 days after the enrolment date. Because it takes 90 days after the enrolment date for Aadhaar reached at your home address.
What I do if I had not received my Aadhaar card after more than 90 days of enrolling?
